Although Robocop was great, Batman delivered I feel a better experience with similar style mini games, the driving sections where excellent and this time around , but robocop did get an arcade port so it's a tuffy!

I loved Batman, and it was cracking game, but I'm afraid Robocop beats it hands down. It was, and still is a tough nut to crack, plus it looked bloody great to boot. And who can forget the digitised speech.

I believe the arcade machine came AFTER the home computer games so if anything it is vice here's!

The two games I immediately thought of are not in the voting... Platoon and Navy SEALs. Both brilliant on the C64, and in the latter case, how to turn a pig's ear of a film into a silk purse of a game.

Voted Robocop, as one of my all time faves - but I always had a soft spot for the Total Recall conversion on the C64. Considering the 2-3 week build of the game after the original dev team let Ocean down, I thought it was a superb effort. The title music one of Jon Dunn's best too!

Untouchables was very classy, but that first level - spending ages just chasing people over crates to get 10 pieces of evidence really dragged on.

Robocop - Excellent gameplay with perfect controls, mini games between levels and top music soundtrack.

One look through that list and I thought nope, none of that lot. Platoon bettered all of them so Platoon it is. Then I guess Robocop, conversions were not bad, even on the Apple II.

Batman - Robocop is good, but the 16-bit versions of Batman rocked.

I made an impulse buy when I saw the the Untouchables in my local computer shop. I even spent the extra cash for the disk version. All this because the film impressed me so much and without even checking the Zzap64 review! Risky business! Thankfully, the game lived up to my expectations. It played superbly and was incredibly varied. I thought it was brilliant and it gets my vote.

Robocop 3... Awesome film licence. The DID guys worked their magic on that game for sure. 3D, you got it. Mesmerising at the time. I lost track of how many times I played a one level demo before I got my mitts on it properly.
