2.3 Million? Crikey.. i'd like to see where the points come from. There seem to be alot of milking opportunities though.. enemies constantly re-spawning, but being as some only give you 100 points, I don't see where the extra 8/900k comes from??

You can probably leave my name out of the second season..... one way or another, I'm likely to again not play very many of them, be it due to me not liking the game, or me just being really absorbed by something else over a long period of time. I'm only in it so that when a good one does show, it's a chance to have a bit of a scoreboard for a time, and compare scores to others, and stuff like that.

And it seems like games I have the patience/tolerance for are only going to happen every now and then, hah. So likely no real point in listing mine. If I give scores they'd be just for comparison, not for rankings/whatever. Hell, I only played ONE over this first season, and I got annoyed with it and dumped it about halfway through. So...... yeah.

Yey, I'm hoping for more obscure stuff. I really played some shooters I'd never really played before in this series despite them being in my collection for a while

For many of them, I did give them a few credits, but...... wether I continued with them depended on exactly how irritated I was getting with them. Did that with R-Type for example, and did not post a score there as I never ended up with one that I was satisfied enough with (something I tend to do, part of why only Sonic Wings got a submission), and then I ended up kinda getting sucked into Ketsui anyway. And of course a few of them just REALLY grated on my nerves way too much..... Parodius (which I did try) and In the Hunt (which I knew enough to stay away from) are the worst offenders, for me anyway, just cant stand either game. And my patience is non-existent to begin with.

Mostly I stick in the topic to watch what happens, cause it's interesting. It'd be more interesting if people could post replay vids or such too, but those are a pain to make of course. But still interesting. ....it's also a shmup-related discussion that does not involve screaming, so that's a good point too.

Kudos to AmidstStorm for keeping such a great tourney, I can only imagine the hard work he had.
I thank him for the invitation and everybody in the league for making me play games I would never touch in such short notice, such as Twinkle Star Sprites, Varth, Gradius (again!) and In the Hunt.

Already looking forward to the next season, with more players around.
And just like Gminty I'm also hoping for more obscure stuff.

What do I need to do to be able to play in the upcoming season?

Season #2, game #1 will be announced at 0:00am on the 4th September or shortly before/after depending on what I'm up to.

All you need to do to enter the league is submit a valid score with a screenshot in the correct format for the game. All required info can be found on page 1 in the first few posts of this thread.
