I recall them still being around for the '92 Olympics, then disappearing soon afterwards to be replaced by the 500ml bottles.

As for CIH's post, if you go to a corner shop now you're lucky to get change from £1.50!
£2 if you get a bottle instead!

Fairly sure a standard 330ml has that amount of sugar, unless they put less sweet stuff in the scottish nectar ?

Just checked my 330ml can of Dr Pepper & it has a "paltry" 38% of GDA of sugar.

I remember the hulk-sized cans of Coke. Used to get them years ago, and they lasted me ages. I do remember paying roughly 60p for one. You can't even buy a 550ml bottle of coke for that (£1.08 in ASDA you can get a 1 litre bottle of Pepsi for a quid!).

Cheapest I have currently seen a 500ml Coke bottle is 79p in B&M - however they sell cans for 39p each so get two for 78p and you end up with more (660ml) for less!

cheapest 500ml i know of is poundland, which is 2 for £1. but i don't know if they have coke, or just pepsi. been awhile since i went in to one.

Best deal you'll find on the Coke is those share size bottles for a quid each.
