Ended up watching The Enforcer last night as it was on TV. Didn't plan to but I watched it through to the end anyway. Great film.

You know, I try to live a clean life. I don't speed. I don't cheat the tax man and I don't download stuff from BitTorrent...

But if I have to wait another 6 censored months for SOMEONE to show this new season of Futurama (let alone the second half of season 6, which, AFAIK STILL hasn't been shown here on ANY channel) I'm going to have to resort to piracy.

Its been years since the last season.
It will end up on some video sites and OD services I think.
If it was on a OD service that allows us in the UK to watch id do it the legal way (as long as its not a over priced half arsed service)

I have never read any of the books - I am guessing it is faithful to them. Are the other films in the series worthwhile watching?

I then watched the season 1 finale of 'Being Human'. A grim conclusion to the first season. Unfortunately Watch aren't showing any of the other seasons anytime soon!

The other two 'Girl' films aren't as good as the original, but worth a watch. I can't say I thought the original was overlong or slow though, so perhaps you may not want to bother.

Being Human is available on DVD if you don't want to wait.

I keep meaning to go back and watch the US version to see Sam Witwer just for the Star Wars fanboy in me.

Okay. Thank you for the reply Antiriad2097.

Last night I watched 'Layer Cake'. I had seen it before. Interesting seeing a pre-Bond Daniel Craig. The film has quite a complicated plot. Plus, the lovely Sienna Miller. It also doesn't have the mockney Guy Richie type style("Yeah, yeah, I am geezer!"). Interesting film. A good debut from Mattthew Vaughn as a director. Great that he went on to make 'Kick Ass'.

I then watched more of 'Hit and Miss' which was on Sky Atlantic.

I watched the original Alien Blu Ray tonight (directors cut). Great film again. Didnt 'suffer' as much as Aliens did on the transition to Hi Def, the only dodgy scenes being the explosion at the end and the Alien when its hanging outside the ship (but that bit has always been dodgy imo). Highly recommended.

Saw a cinema screening of the Danny Boyle stage production of Frankenstein yesterday. Was absolutely fantastic. Johnny Lee Miller as the creature and Bandersnatch Cumberbund as Dr Frankenstein. Was a fantastic interpretation that focuses on the creature learning to speak and becoming educated, but ultimately falling foul of the darker human emotions. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Watched The Animatrix last night which was pretty interesting. Got me curious about picking up the special editions of the Matrix DVD's for more extras.

EDIT: I don't suppose anybody has the HMV version of Reloaded with either the Neo/Trinity/Morpheus slipcovers and the art cards that they wouldn't mind parting with? Woth a try

I watched the season finale of 'Justified'. Hmmm, interesting ending.

I then got up to date with 'Awake'. It seems that all is not what it seems in 'Awake'. An interesting plot twist at the end of the last episode.

Panty and Stocking, English dub. Pretty goddamn epic!

Chronicle. Better than I expected, kind of reminded me of Push for some reason.

I have a sealed (non-3D version) of that on DVD in my 'to watch' pile. Is it awful?

On a similar shark-related note, I watched one last night called Sand Sharks. The plot is basically sharks that can swim in sand attacking a beach while some idiot plans a beach party regardless. Terrible dialogue that comes across as unintentionally humorous, crap special effects and awful predictability. It had a so-bad-it's-good charm but I wouldn't watch it again and I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
