Broke up for 8 days off work today. The joy was slightly dampened though when I made the fatal error of opening a bottle of pop in my car and it exploded all over me  . Cue driving back while sitting in a pool of Cherry Tango which I've just finished scrubbing out of the upholstery...

Ah well, lesson learned!

Sorry for laughing mate but I just thought that it was funny, imaging you sitting there driving home covered in Cherry Tango.

I took my bike into the shop yesterday to deal with an annoying creaking noise from my bottom bracket area (i've just spent a fortune on a new XT BB and Tiagra chainset to try to alleviate the problem). Upshot was.... i said i didn't want the bike back until they'd got rid of the noise.

Got a rather surprising phonecall from the shop today. They'd taken my bike out for a spin, heard the noise, took it back to the shop and serviced all the (new) gear i'd already just had fitted. Dan (a professional rider) took it out again and it was still creaking. So they decided there was a stress fracture in the bottom of the frame welding somewhere, although there was nothing visible....and as my frame has a lifetime guarantee, i'd get a replacement. Trouble is, they don't make my frame anymore. So after a quick call to Specialized, the shop's been authorised to replace my 4 year old bike, that's done over 10000 miles, with a brand spanking new one!!

So i'm picking this up next week....

...for free :D

They're even fitting all the upgrades i have on my bike to the new one, when it arrives.

I love my local Specialized specialist 8)

Today I was about to renew my lovefilm sub when I got a letter through the door offering me a free month AND a £20 Amazon voucher when I pay for the following month.

If they dont hire me they are a bit dim,
i wonder if they are monitoring us on the security cameras, they will see me helping out a load of customers while the others just point and say "Its over there"

Today I deiced to move round the living room.
Sofa looks better on back wall, room looks bigger. (posters being rearranged)

Only prob is it looked like my EXT harddrive had died, (no power) took it apart and plugged it into the computer and it works

Today, I managed to iron out the kinks in my Full metal Jacket fan edit. It's up on mediafire (well, the original version that has the aforementioned kinks in is). If anyone fancies giving it a watch and giving me some feedback, well, go right ahead. PM me for links (as I don' think I can post them on here).

Mainly rattled round the house today, but went to the Rotherham Theatre this evening with the missus to see, Indian Takeaway - With Hardeep Singh, the comedian guy who won Masterchef, or summet  . I think the basic premiss was, he orders a curry from a local takeaway, then makes his own and the audience compares them, but in reality he just spent most of the evening telling stories and taking the censored out of the audience, good time all round and I was back in time to watch the football highlights
