Currently sh!tting bricks over the Avengers film, but once I have seen that, I will be sporting moist trousers over this.

I'm slightly obsessed by Aliens (and Alien to a lesser extent), so I'm a bit excited about this!

Quietly looking forward to it but ive set my expectations for it low probably because how bad the last couple of Alien related films have been.

It's a while off yet but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it when it does come out.

Hope it's worth the wait!

Hope it'll be good.....suspect it'll be dire

For me everything from Alien 3 onward was a downward trend from the first two

Alien 3 is actually bloody good considering what fincher had to put up with, and his directors cut is much improved too.

It's ok...and yeah the whole thing sounds like a mare if the documentry thing on the DVDs is true but the CGI Alien looked pony and it wasn't a patch on either of the previous two films

Still, better than the modern dross for sure

Everyone keeps mentioning the Alien movies. Prometheus is not an Alien movie, it's an origin story of the 'Space Jockeys' that were shown in the first Alien movie. Ridley Scott has stated in many interviews that there are no Aliens in this movie.

I can't wait for Prometheus, it looks fantastic, but people going in expecting an Alien or Aliens movie will most likely be disappointed.

What I am looking forward too though is once Ridley is finished with Prometheus, he'll start on the sequel to Blade Runner!!

I heard from a little bird that Harrison Ford is in talks for Blade Runner.
