I will do my best to visit this place the next time I am near London. I think it is fantastic that they have opened a store and come looking to retro forums looking for advice. This is a place above any where you will get true honest feedback. They can take it on board, they can ignore, it is up to them. I hope this store does well I really do.

Yep, you have no idea about prices do you yet comment...umm ok.

So what if the prices are higher than expected, the extra cost of any item within a store compensates for items which you could buy on ebay which could get lost, damaged or may not be as described.

Gotta love the b u t t kissing at the end Nakamura LOL

See you in the store!

I pass the details of every good retro shop I know about to members looking for games and almost always avoid sending them to ebay if I can. Retro Station in Sutton and Gameworldbodmin are two stores I have regular contact with as they offer superb prices in a lot of cases and they still make profit.

You've always been like this and get extremely sulky and disgruntled hiding behind a screen LOL hahahahahaha

We'll just sit back and laugh at you as usual.

It's like reading posts from an under 5's playground argument reading Mr_Sega's replies.

Completely unacceptable way to act on the forum - especially for someone with only 15 posts.

back on topic, there seems to be a bomberman tournament coming up in early August at the store. I will definitely be entering that, I played it a lot on 4 player SNES but apparantly this will be 10 player Saturn! Immense!

The shop is going very well, so thanks to all of you that have helped the first couple of months be a success. It's always going to be a battle in the current climate as well as competing with the internet for collectors on the hunt. Though with the support from the likes of forum members and online communities that we have already seen Joe & I certainly aren't complaining. Constructive criticism is definately taken on-board and acted on if possible to try and create the best retro gaming store/hang-out that we possibly can.

We have an awesome event on this Saturday and Sunday showing off some of our very rare items. This evening we have just had a re-jig and it's now looking like a lovely little museum. The confirmed items on show are below:

Parker Bros Atari 2600 Kiosk (playable)
Hitachi Hi-Saturn
Turbo Express Handheld
Multi-mega
NES M82 (playable)
Neo Geo AES (playable)
Sega SG-1000 (playable)
Sega Mega Jet
PC Engine LT
15+ Nintendo Game & Watches
Sega Nomad
Vectrex (playable)
Nintendo Virtual Boy
Goldstar 3DO
Bandai Pippin

These items will only be available to view this weekend and I hope you agree that some of the items above really are rare gems. Hope to see some of you in store over the next couple of days.

Just been in and it was like a trip down memory lane. If I had money, I probably would have come out with a few things but alas I left only with a Mario sweet figurine ;) I did have a go on Point Blank though, always tend to do that when I see one.
