Are they the same size as Paper Arcade?

Games Workshop, Airfix, Battlefront or Warlord? Sure they'd do Bitz packs with vehicle accessories. Actually 15\28mm scale jeeps\bike might do the job for chassis as well? Matchbox cars at car boots? A few possible ideas.

Thanks, i am headed to the modelling store tommorrow so i will be sure to make some enquires

Just a quick question for some feedback .. i have been playing about with some graphics, and i think i can make a Wrestlefest model based on the cabinet i contstrust for The Simpsons and Turtles models .. what is anyones opinion on this please ?

Personally Wrestlefest is one of my favourite arcade games, and definately the best wrestling game out there.

What about my glass horse? Ideally he should have a little man inside, or a ghost.

That would be a big thumbs up from me. Easily one of my all time arcade games!

Don't mind The Master, he'll be fine once he's had his frog pills. Humour him until they kick in. Best not to make any promises though, as you can never be sure he doesn't really want a glass horse. Possibly an amazing one.

Just a few photos of some more models i have been working on, for some feedback ..

These are WIP's, with the odd few details to be sorted on each one

Just a further update. Thanks to the great critique and feedback i have had here and at another forum, i really feel my models are coming on leaps and bounds. I invested in some even higher quality vinyl for the graphics, bought perspex for the screens, new cutting materials, and generally upgraded everything i was using to construct these.

Here are some shots of my progress, and i will just let the pictures speak for themselves, and await critique ..

Plus, here is a shot of a more advanced Pengo model. I made this as part of a custom order for a forum member, and it's definately better then the Pengo model i showed you guys last week ...

Apologies for the deluge of posts and photos.

I just completed a Doneky Kong model for a forum member. It has taken me weeks to perfect this one and get a model i am 100% happy with ... hope you like ...

Very good work, you can see the improvement as you've worked through these. The artwork is much neater on them now and pretty much addresses my main issue, I'm liking how these new ones have turned out.

What are you using for the cab sides etc? Is it balsa or foam or something else? It looks sort of textured on the cut edges.

My only real quibble now, and its a very minor one, is the mismatch on the coin doors. The rest of the cabs are looking good, but the coin door looks like its a paper print stuck on. It might not be so apparent in the flesh but the colours seem off in the photos. In fairness, the cab doors are different on the real cabs, being metal where the cab is wood. But, there's something odd about the colour on the print, its sort of blueish like you get when printing black on white paper, its not quite a deep enough black.

How to address that one is tricky. It may be this is the best solution. But I do wonder if it'd be possible to paint the coin door a metallic black to give it the proper depth and sheen and put a decal over it with the details like the coin slots? Decal paper is available, I looked into it for my bike transfers (that's another thread). Its how the airfix kits always dealt with these things, but I don't know you'd get a solid enough colour if putting it on a black background. You could of course spot the area the decal goes on in white, but then that gets very fiddly so you wouldn't want to be doing that every time. Altenatively, a decal for the dor details (all the ridges and lines in the metal), then overlay that with the standard colour print for the coin slots? I guess there are several approaches of varying difficulty and practicality.

But as I say, a minor quibble. I'm impressed with the progression and results so far.

[edit]
You've just posted the Donkey Kong and it looks much better on that. I guess my issue is with the black on black as its more noticeable on those cabs. The DK looks near perfect.
