Have you any idea how much it is all worth?

I've no idea how much the collection is worth now. I'd estimate a couple of thousand at least maybe more.

I don't think a collectors corner would be enough for this. I think it deserves a full at least 2 page feature with Shadowman detailing how he tracked a lot of the stuff down and why etc etc etc. It make a great read and a stunning thing to have in print.

Amazing collection.

I know 2 or 3 fellow Megaman collectors that have either "complete" collections or huge collections spanning the games and all sorts of merchandise. Thats been really handy since I've often traded/brought stuff from them that were not readily available in this region.

Totally agree. It would be nice to feature something like this to set a bit of a benchmark for future collectors columns, rather than the current small column featuring reader-x and their generic collection of old games and systems (no offence). These kind of focused collections with plenty of rarities and hard to find items are where that section should be targeted IMO. Far more interesting even if you don't necessarily like the games.

@ Shadowman.
Question: what is the difference between the players choice version of Mega man anniversary on Gamecube as pictured in your collection and mine which is a non players choice american import?

Just looked again and have seen the non players choice version in your collection... LOL should have known. Is the Players Choice version just a re-issue?

Players choice is usually a popular or high seller, like Platinum over here. Sometimes the games can be improved on the rerelease mind, mainly to iron out bugs.

The most interesting items to me in the photo of the collection are the Saturn Megaman games, i was not even aware that any came out on the Saturn, they must be rare indeed.

The PAL and USA ones weren't the easiest stuff to track down thats for sure. X3 was the most expensive of the bunch, its price keeps going up and down between the £20 and £40 mark (unfortunately I got it when the price was peaking). MM8 and X4 I actually lucked out on and got pretty cheap (around £15-£20 each). Pretty good considering postage alone from some of the USA auctions listed on eBay are £20 alone! The Saturn version of MM8's my favourite version as well, a few graphical details here and there which gave it the edge over the Playstation version plus it has a couple of extra bosses from previous MM games that weren't in the Playstation verion either.

Regarding the Players Choicw version its unfortunately just a re-release of the original version. The re-release really could have done with fixing a couple of the little bugs with MM7-8 (mostly audio bugs, sound effects too loud etc.) All 3 consoles suffered from those problems though which is a bummer.

Even rereleases in the UK are called players choice for Cube - still have silver packaging mind.
