I have fond memories of Football Italia (with the fantastic James Richardson) too. We never had Sky so it was the only top flight football you could watch on terrestrial TV after the 1991/92 season - plus it was far more glamorous than the English league at the time anyway, with team after team full of incredible players like you say. In fact, it was this vintage upload of Gazzetta Football Italia which inspired me to get off my arse and upload these programmes!

Anyone ever remember a Danny Baker video called 'that was the season that was' around the early 90's? (94 possibly)? A real classic and it was around the time the games were on Sky so it seemed like most of the games were special given how tricky it was to watch them.
