Personally I always found Memory harder than Mevious. I've got used to Mevious' insanity and can hit some massive chains against him. That 51 might have been against Dark Ran though. Big chains are the key for me.

For playing with, I didn't like Memory or Mevious. They're too good.

Good lord ^2

I had a couple of extra credits but I figured it's just not worth my time.
After I 1LCed the game without much effort with less than 1M (damn enemies dying for nothing) I don't think I'll have the patience to manage this anymore.

Congrats to the top 3, here's hoping I don't drop even further!
Is there any chance the next game will be as frustrating and random as TSS?
I hope not! :!:

Fell asleep in the evening and just woke up. I think playing Twinkle Star Sprites frazzled my brain.

Have to think of a nomination now.... Image

Really sorry dude, great score though. I'll add it it to the score list when I move the scores to a separate thread
. it just wouldn't be fair to sputryk if I accepted it.

For such an annoying game lacking in depth, the competition really was quite close eh? :D

Any mistakes please let me know..

Final rankings for Twinkle Star Sprites:

League Table standings after Twinkle Star Sprites:
Image

Pre-game #5 overview:

- The top 5 ranking scorers for Twinkle Star Sprites should PM me one game nomination for game #5.

- Once i've received all 5 nominations, I will post them up above. Also I will announce it as a new post.

- All players that submitted a score for Twinkle Star Sprites will have 2 votes each to cast on the 5 games nominated.

- Players voting can either PM, email or text me their votes. Or, post them into the thread.

- In a case of a tie of votes, a re-vote on the games tied will be asked by all players.

- The deadline for nominations and votes is 23:59pm on the 3rd May.

- If we haven't received all votes by this time, then the game with the current highest number of votes will become the game we will play. If games are tied on votes when the deadline hits, I will take some administrative stance and pick the game I feel will be best suited to the league.

- If we receive all votes and nominations before the deadline, then the game will start at 00:00am the next day.

- Game #5 is guaranteed to start at the latest, at 00:00am on the 4th May, and will go on til 23:59pm on the 18th May, UK GMT.

Rankings finalised, Table updated, scores moved to a seperate thread

It was.....

I did kind of think "well, damn" when I got that 1.4m score and then talked to you afterwards. I realised that I had a chance to do quite well and really had to go for it as while the next game might be more enjoyable (surely!), it might not go so well score-wise.

I know I'm in the minority but I enjoyed it, I'm still playing the game now. I want to get something really decent with Mevious, broke 1.7 million yesterday. This morning I got an absolutely enormous chain against Memory but I'll never know what it was because I didn,t beat her :( . I wasn't playing very well tbh, I kept losing lives agianst Tinker & Linker >_>.

And yeah it was amazingly close in the end, I was lucky to shade it by 10000 points :o .

I think most here did really well, which is quite an achievement for saying most people hated it

The game drained me so much that I didn't even have the energy to get annoyed about it.

Yet.... :P

5th? Moi? Yay! :D And: phew! Close shave there, Coffee. Well played, though. Had tried Friday night to do better, but just wasn't getting a fair run of the game - early rounds ended far too quickly, leaving me with Mevious at close to 400k(!) and occasionally Memory nearer 700k. VERY frustrating as confidence was high. Maybe it was due to getting used to playing with Sprites. I like Sprites. :D Did manage one other 1m+ score, but defeated by Memory. Although I started out not liking this game much, it did grow on me - if only the cpu was a little more balanced in how it plays.

Anyhoo, nom time. Hmmm..., several ideas, but which do I choose.
