Surprised there isnt already a topic for this game, as I'm pretty sure a bunch of the shmup fans on this forum have gotten it by now (or at least have the old version).

Figured I'd create one. Definitely enjoying the heck outta it myself. The scoring in this game is way more interesting than it looked like it was gonna be, and alot more balanced than many of Cave's games.

I'll set up a proper ranking "list" once there's a few actual submissions. Not doing it right now while I'm the only one.


Anyway my first score for this: 925,340, stage 1-3, New Order mode.

Nothing very impressive yet. Keep dying in rather stupid ways. Goddamn boats. It's like the devs knew I hated the things, so at the end of stage 2 the mother of all battleships shows up and is covered in 80 kersquillion cannons. Trying to get full scoring out of that fight is not easy.

I played it on release but never returned as i got sucked into the league games at the time.
