I bought it. Level 9 you say. .. .. .. .. that's as far as I've managed to get too  :? I'll be trying again though. Hate to be defeated by a puzzle!

Me too.. I think it's level 9.. the one where upon starting you have to do a tedious 'move right, dig back, repeat, thing to get along those boulders, then there is a vertical tower, one boulder wide, that you must move into and dig down before leaving allowing them all to cascade down, then you go to the top and get each diamond that is now accessible. The room to the right of that is where I am stuck (there is a teleporter in there)

I cant find any help on this game online :(

Yep, that's the same level. It took me a few attempts to figure out how to get out of the first area. I will let you know if I get any further. Please do likewise!

Will do, though I am currently addicted to Max Payne 3 multiplayer so not much else is getting a look in, apart from GAME ROOM of course hehe :D

I started remaking EarthShaker for the DS about a year ago and finally got around to finishing it today:

EarthShakerDS_20120526

It's a more or less straight remake of the original game, with a few minor enhancements such as more forgiving controls, a level select and a level editor. Unlike the 360 version it uses the original Spectrum levels. The author of the 360 remake collaborated with the original programmer to fix a few mistakes in some of the levels, but I prefer to keep this version authentic.

There's also an OSX version here:

EarthShakerOSX_20120526

Note that the OSX version is a straight recompile of the DS code, so the keyboard layout isn't the greatest.

If you have a Mac or a DS with a flash cart (or just a DS emulator), give it a try!

Sounds good. I'll check out the DS version.

Earth Shaker Remakes Nixed

Postby ant512 on Thu Jul 19, 2012 11:57 pm

Unfortunately I've had to take down the remakes thanks to a nastygram from the ["Noddy Holder's Bash"-ed] company. I imagine the 360 version will disappear soon, so grab it while you can! And keep hold of the Spectrum ROM if you have it; the company will presumably want to travel back in time *22 years* to prevent YS including the original on their covertape.
