I want it, but seeing as Capcom aren't shipping it outside the USA I can't order it directly from them. Hopefully elsewhere will pick it up so I don't have to hunt for one on eBay

If that comes out over here then I'm all over it. The set looks lovely but having all that DLC included straight away plus HD Remix and 3S on disc is brilliant :)

If anybody catches word of any sort of EU localisation/release then please share!

I was under the impression it did come with the DLC characters for SFxT but your right, re-reading it again it does seem to imply (or its badly written) that only character costume DLC is present for it which is stupid.

Surely as it's the anniversary they should have included the original?
Yes, it's a bit sh1t but that's not the point!

^Or updated the original.
They could of included the likes of Alpha 3 on there as well as the other Street fighter anime.

Like I said, ill just wait for the 30th anniversary box set and complain more about that

Personally, I'm not sure I'd want to play the original. If it was updated then it would either feel hideously outdated or nothing like the original version which would render it pointless. I've played it on one of the PSP Capcom collections and the controls were just terrible so a remake would help but then - as I just said - it probably wouldn't feel the same anyway.

The Akuma kanji symbol on the box lid is a nice touch though :) . A bit random but still cool.

An updated version of the original would have been a nice touch, bring it in line with the later games so it at least doesn't play as bad as it did (plus I'm sure Capcom could have cut corners and reuse Alpha sprites here and there  ).

That was my first reaction. Since it's the anniversary of the original that the set is celebrating in the first place, not including it seems like a really weird decision. II,III and IV are all represented after all. Hell, even if they just released a straight port of the PC engine version (which is the best home version by a country mile) it would have been something.

For the money, I'm also disappointed they didn't include the excellent Alpha games or the two live-action movies. Okay, the movies are piss-poor but when they're selling this as a complete SF collection in a box why such obvious oversights?

After reading the synopsis of the second SF movie (the Chun Li one) I'd pay $150 just to keep that censored out of the collection  I'd have liked to see the SF II Victory anime in there as it wasn't to bad (bar being cripplingly slow going in places).

I read on another site that it does include the DLC characters. The only costumes for the game are swap costumes, so even taking the above text does read as characters too as there are no 'character' costumes to speak of.

For an avid SF fan, I am not excited one iota. Recycling old material for a high price.
