I emailed him with this:

I was looking on ebay for a master system converter and saw this listing, I also saw on a forum a link to it by people expressing shock at the price.. I am curious enough to contact you to see whether you have made an honest mistake with the listing (maybe you meant £99 instead of £999 ?) As these items would be quite expensive even at that price, but you may get lucky with someone who REALLY wanted it..

Maybe I am missing something, but I am interested to know the thought process behind this pricing.

I'm a little confused with his listing. He titled it Mega Games Vol 3, yet the photo is clearly Megagames 6 vol 1. He the says the cover is a special edition one, because all the others he's seen are orange. I think he has confused his item with Megagames 6 vol 3.

Yeah. I think Mega Games 6 Vo.3 is actually worth something. I'm sure I read on Retro Collect that somebody ebayed a copy and it sold for a silly price in the region of £200+ on a genuine auction.
