Stick a post up when it arrives and let us know how long shipping takes.
I've never bought anything from Atari Age but if it's relatively straight forward and hassle free
I'll be ordering as they have a lot of stuff I'd like.

Well, after waiting a exactly month, it would appear that it has finally arrived.

The Mrs sent me a text to say that the postie arrived & that she had to pay an £11.18 customs fee ...

THAT is something I wasn't expecting, a bit gutted tbh.

It brings the price I paid for it up to thirty five quid....that's thirty five times the amount I normally pay for a 2600 cart!

Quake 4 (with bonus Quake 2) for 360. It got average reviews but I saw it very cheap (3 quid to be exact) so at that price it was a 'buy to try!'
And it's not bad at all IMO

Y'know, you have a parental responsibility to check and make sure it's a suitable game and ensure it is working...

Too right, but its arrived all sealed up in a special box thingy with a free Lex Luthor figure. It would be a shame if he wasnt the first to open it...

Dont mean to sound patronising , if you already know that , its still worth getting it - its a great little shooter collection on a format that deserves it.

Yeah, I've played it on emulation.... just wondered if there was any benefit in getting this version....

For a portable blast of metal slug , it most definitely is. Most long journeys i take my psp , and usually this and other retro collections.

Depends on the price - i got mine for £5 which was a bargain to me.

Same. There's a bit of irritating loading on the menus which takes a small age to clear but all those games on one tiny UMD is impossible to argue about. I think it's worth a bit more than a fiver though due to it being an uncommon Ignition release and a great compilation so if anybody can pick it up for a crisp five pound note or thereabouts then it's a true bargain.

I have a sealed PS2 copy as well for play on the big screen. Only sealed because I used to have the promo version which I played to death before getting the 'proper' release.

Just checked Amazon and saw that MSA is just under £15 used. Got mine from Gamestation East Ham and half expected them to say it was wrong at a fiver.. Spotted a couple in GS Wolverhampton in the firesale for £1.99.

I would buy it if you can - I havent had that much fun with a Metal Slug since I bought my NGPC.

Went into GAME to pick up lollipop chainsaw and then decided that rather than blow £30 on that, I got (all on 360):

Gears of War
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
Halo 3
Halo ODST
Samurai Warriors 2
Splinter Cell Conviction

Plenty of hours of fun gaming ahead of me now!

The lass behind the counter asked for a £5 deposit on Halo 4 because, you know, I obviously must buy it from them. I said no, I got home to found she's put a pre-order for me anyway (albeit without any deposit). Is that normal practice for GAME these days? I find it quite cheeky.

Also saddened at the complete lack of new games on offer. All the above are naturally pre-owned and beat to censored as a result. They'll play fine but the poor cases are covered in scratches, sticker residue, ugh...heart breaking

I got Pokemon XD in a 3 for £10 deal from GAME along with Skies of Arcadia Legends :D
Not interested in playing it though. The whole shadow Pokemon thing was BS in my opinion.
I asked for orange. It gave me lemon lime!
